About

PocketRun started as a group chat between four friends who kept sending each other screenshots of mobile games late at night. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down instead of losing the tips in a scroll of messages. So here we are.

Everything on this site comes from actual play sessions. We don't paste press releases or copy patch notes. If a boss fight took us three hours and a lot of swearing, that goes in the guide, along with the trick that finally cracked it.

We pick games across genres on purpose. Some weeks it's a slow city builder, other weeks a racing game that eats your commute. The rule is simple: it has to be worth someone's phone storage. If we drop a game halfway through, we say so and explain why.

No studio pays us to like their game. When something is clunky, we write that too. It keeps our own notes honest, which is really the whole point.

Lena Fischer — Lena has been playing mobile games since the days of tiny cracked screens and coordinates the whole editorial team. She's the one who insists every guide gets replayed before it goes live.
